Bio

Barbara Sheehan-Zeidler, MA, LPC has over 15 years in the counseling field and is an engaging, dynamic public speaker, and a mind-body-spirit-focused therapist. With her hallmark moment-to-moment attunement, Barbara has a knack for making meaningful connections with people – be it one-on-one in her office or at a training event with a roomful of people.

Whether providing trauma-focused counseling, healing intensives, clinical consultation, or public speaking, Barbara wholeheartedly and authentically engages her audience to maximize their time together and leave them with empowering, practical tools and takeaways. She is especially inspired to help clinicians take their careers – and themselves – to unprecedented levels.

Barbara’s honors and recognitions include graduating from Regis University with a Master’s in Counseling, being certified in EMDR therapy, and being an approved EMDRIA consultant. She is also certified in Somatic IFS and is Level 2 IFS trained. Barbara has studied extensively with Deb Dana, Richard Schwartz, Susan McConnell, and others as she values learning and stretching her personal and professional growth edges. She owns and operates Creative and Caring Counseling in Colorado.

When not in the office or presenting, you can find Barbara enjoying time with her family (especially her grandchildren), upcycling furniture, and taking photos of nature.
