Jon Owens, MBA, LNHA
BIO:
For nearly thirty years, Jon has been part of Rocky Mountain Care, a regionally-based healthcare organization of Woods Cross, Utah. Jon began his career in 1994 as a nursing facility administrator of a small nursing home in Salt Lake City. In 2000, he was invited to develop and implement a corporate compliance program amid the growing concerns in the healthcare delivery system regarding fraud, waste and abuse.
For the past four years, Jon has been a part of the Human Resource team at Rocky Mountain Care where he has been largely responsible for leadership and employee development programs and cultivating a culture that reduces employee turnover and improves retention.
Jon has BA in Political Science from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Westminster College and currently licensed as a nursing facility administrator in Utah and Wyoming. He is also a certified facilitator for The Arbinger Institute.
Jon is married to Tiffiny Bangerter Owens and they have three children. His hobbies include spending time with his family and friends skiing, hiking, mountain biking, playing pickleball and boating in the beautiful outdoors of Utah.
